Market wanderings

There's a long market street between my apartment and the subway station. I wandered down there today, in an attempt to find some food for my barren fridge. It's indoors, and really neat. Lots to look at! Everything is super fresh, and Lindsay told me the produce is better and cheaper than at a grocery store. I bought some green beans and fresh eggs from a very nice lady. I wandered a little more, and realized two things about meat:

1. I cannot tell what part of the animal is on display
2. I cannot tell which animal it is

How sad... so no meat... yet. Lots of seafood, whole fish, squid, crabs, all that jazz. I bought some tomatoes, and the woman added a very ripe orange, for free. It made my day :)

Picked up some OJ and milk at the Co-op. See Mom, I can eat healthy! Trying to cancel out all of the fried food I've been eating lately. Now, if I could only cook....
